After a brief hiatus, Going Good makes a triumphant return with an exclusive and extremely limited CD / Digital release, presenting the London duo The Soft and their mesmerising 8-track album, 'Lifelike.' This musical journey is the result of two close friends, Zander Fletcher and Henry Morris, who set out to create electronic music with a touch of human soul and depth. The album, meticulously recorded between 2015–2020 in Forest Hill, South East London, showcases a fusion of Downtempo, IDM, Ambient, Techno, and House sounds, all masterfully crafted with genuine originality and emotional depth.

Fletcher and Morris, lifelong musical collaborators, discovered their unique style and approach to music-making from a young age. Their talent eventually caught the attention of Luke Abbott, with whom they collaborated on an EP in 2012. The inception of 'Lifelike' took shape in the attics and living rooms of various locations where the pair resided, giving each track a distinct and personal touch. Sadly, in December 2018, Zander Fletcher passed away, leaving behind the unfinished project. In 2022, Henry Morris took up the mantle, completing 'Lifelike' with the utmost dedication and reverence for his close friend, cherishing the essence of the musical connection they shared.

This release holds significant sentimental value, embodying rich history and boundless energy. Going Good takes immense pride in presenting this soulful and contemplative collection of tracks.This limited edition disc is adorned with captivating artwork by William Glass, while the masterful audio engineering by Dean at Compound Audio ensures an exceptional sonic experience.
