Going Good pair up once more with Detroit's Todd Modes (1/2 of Cosmic Handshakes) for a 4 tracker of deep discoid motor city music. Featuring a plethora of international and local Detroit musical talents (including our very own Tokyo connect - Yoshinori Hayashi - on keys), the 'Serpent EP' is not typical of the majority of sonic output from the city.

Eschewing house and techno archetypes and operating within a distinctly 'live' group scenario, Modes and his crew offer us a genuinely organic 4 tracker steeped in ritualistic studio jamming and mixing, explosive live percussion, whispered chants and vocals, heavy dub stylings and jazz infused keys graced with blasts of skilful saxophone and the sort of hazy smoked out grooves that only a lifetime spent digging $1 thrift store disco not disco 12"s and late night basement mixing sessions can lead to.
